Ampex selected to supply the Canadian Forces Aerospace Warfare Centre - Electronic Warfare Operational Support (EWOS) with ruggedized Ampex miniR® 700 airborne data recorder systems.

By selecting the miniR 700, the foundation has been laid for a "standard customizable" recording system that can be tailored to specific operational requirements while preserving a service-wide common platform. miniR input modules can be added or removed according to need, so that a common pool of systems can address multiple needs, with a common support infrastructure on the ground, and yet cost savings versus a "one size fits all" approach can be realized.
