August 13, 2008 Redwood City, CA - Ampex Data Systems Corporation today announced a contract award for Ampex to supply L-3 WESCAM (WESCAM) with its rugged, High-Definition Airborne Recorder systems as part of the Interoperable Griffon Reconnaissance Escort Surveillance System (INGRESS) program for the Canadian Forces Griffon CH-146 helicopter.

The INGRESS recorder system will be supplied with an integrated STANAG 4575 download module to ensure that the stringent NATO ISR interoperability requirements for this program are met".
