Dixie Crow

The Association of Old Crows is an organization for individuals who have common interests in Electronic Warfare (EW), Electromagnetic Spectrum Management Operations (EMSO), Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA), Information Operations (IO), and other information related capabilities. The Association of Old Crows provides a means of connecting members and organizations nationally and internationally across government, defense, industry, and academia to promote the exchange of ideas and information, and provides a platform to recognize advances and contributions in these fields.

The Dixie Crows facilitate the objectives of the Association through social events, technical symposia, monthly meetings with guest speakers, and a monthly newsletter. The Chapter recognized the need to create a forum for users, developers, and maintainers of Electronic Warfare systems and components to share information and discuss common challenges, and held its first symposium in 1976. The symposium has become an annual event – attended by representatives from industry, academia and government, some traveling great distances to meet and/or present with us each year. In addition to being a forum for technical interchange, the symposium is also a major fund-raiser – supporting the Dixie Crow Scholarship Fund, and providing donations to various communities and charitable organizations.

Robins Requirements Symposium

Understand needs and provide solutions

We are happy to announce the 2026 conference and look forward to collaborating with Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) professionals focused on Maintaining Spectrum Dominance. The EWA Conference is an annual event held each spring at the Museum of Aviation, Robins AFB, Georgia, and provides current technical briefings related to each year’s theme. This year’s conference will be held March 24-26, 2026 at the Scott Theater, Eagle Building, Museum of Aviation. The EWA Conference provides a venue for Air Force, DoD industry professionals and academics to share information and engage in dialog on the latest technology and policy issues in the areas of Electromagnetic Warfare (EW), Avionics, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR). Complementary GTRI technical short courses will be offered. Refer back to this site for updated information.

The 2026 theme is “Synergy in Electromagnetic Systems: Integrating Position, Timing, Sensing, and Effecting for Spectrum Superiority.”  This year’s technical conference focuses on enablers – architectures, algorithms, and applications – that ensure operational dominance. We are soliciting papers related to Electronic Warfare (EW), Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR), Electromagnetic Battle Management (EMBM), Combat Avionics, Precision Navigation Timing (PNT) or EMS Data Analytics and may include technical solutions (software and/or hardware), novel acquisition strategies, initiatives, enablers, techniques, methods, policy/doctrine updates, interoperability, open systems, modeling, architectures, and best practices.

Why Ampex is Here

Electronic warfare depends on trusted data. Ampex develops secure, cyber-resilient recording and edge systems that ensure critical mission information is captured and protected even in the most demanding electromagnetic environments. These events allow us to collaborate with operators, engineers, and acquisition teams working to advance spectrum superiority.
