Dixie Crow
The Association of Old Crows is an organization for individuals who have common interests in Electronic Warfare (EW), Electromagnetic Spectrum Management Operations (EMSO), Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA), Information Operations (IO), and other information related capabilities. The Association of Old Crows provides a means of connecting members and organizations nationally and internationally across government, defense, industry, and academia to promote the exchange of ideas and information, and provides a platform to recognize advances and contributions in these fields.
The Dixie Crows facilitate the objectives of the Association through social events, technical symposia, monthly meetings with guest speakers, and a monthly newsletter. The Chapter recognized the need to create a forum for users, developers, and maintainers of Electronic Warfare systems and components to share information and discuss common challenges, and held its first symposium in 1976. The symposium has become an annual event – attended by representatives from industry, academia and government, some traveling great distances to meet and/or present with us each year. In addition to being a forum for technical interchange, the symposium is also a major fund-raiser – supporting the Dixie Crow Scholarship Fund, and providing donations to various communities and charitable organizations.

Electronic Warfare and Avionics Conference
The 2024 theme is “Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) as a Maneuver Space – Achieving Dominance in the EMS through Speed, Innovation, and DATA”. We are soliciting papers that relate to topics related to new technologies, open architectures, EMS data (needs and/or CONOPS), software development pipelines, innovative approaches to validation and release processes, and novel approaches to using or integrating existing technologies that will allow rapid acquisition and fielding.
